Breakfast was good hot and savoury, appreciated the position.
Had 1 night in this popular and upscale hotel, spent our time here lovely. The staff were knowledgeable and competent, gave us great tips. The setting was quite fantastic within easy reach of volcanic craters. Really nice restaurant provided authentic dishes: )

Knowledgeable and hospitable staff, it was very nice stay.
The room was very lovely big, great bed. As for me, the location was beautiful, short walk to the highlights of Iceland, which are really unspoilt, and all the major sights in north Iceland. Moreover, it was 2 km from Pseudo-craters...

Consider exploring the nearby lava fields early in the morning for fine views, as they are just a short walk from the hotel.

The front desk stay was really kind. They work so hard! We saw the northern lights while there, the only time on our trip. Great little northern lights viewing shack, but we ended up using our car.
The walls were pretty thin.

I was here during winter for the northern lights Great, friendly and helpful staff who wake you up if you want to see northern lights at anytime The reataurant has a good kitchen, a small menu but that what the serve is great. All in all for winter it has a great value for money; So for Northern lights travels it's a great location and excellent choice
When you sleep in the 3rd floor under the roof and there are strong winds, it´s loud cause of the roof construction.

Beautiful lakeside views from the rooms!
The sauna was out of order , frustrating after a long day exploring. The midge fly swarms were unbearable while trying to enjoy the outdoor spaces. Lastly, the breakfast options were quite limited and didn't meet my expectations given the high price point.

I enjoyed convenient placing of central heating, multi-channel television and a writing desk in the a double room. The location was wonderful, for example, volcanic craters was within walking distance of the hotel. The service was great and the pool was great;))
